$200/$400 PLO is pretty entertaining as it is, with plenty of the game's biggest names sitting in for huge sessions and no shortage of $100k+ plus pots to watch change hands.
Every now and then, though, you'll catch one of those days when everyone is feeling just a little sicker than normal and you'll see a glimpse into the future of poker degeneracy.
Case in point: yesterday's major $200/$400 session, spearheaded by Patrik Antonius, where the pros decided to give themselves a break from making tough decisions for 80% of North America's yearly salary and just flip for it instead.
What's a flip? Everyone at the table raises to a certain amount or goes all-in pre-flop, everybody checks it down, and they see who wins.
Fun times, no?
The end result yesterday: no less than 15 hands of $20k "flips" featuring the usual high-stakes suspects, including Steve Sung, Jay "pr1nnyraid" Rosenkrantz, Antonius, Taylor Caby, LoLiNa, John Juanda and Gus Hansen.
Who reaped the rewards of the neutral-EV entertainment? Looked to be Rosenkrantz and Juanda in particular, with Juanda apparently walking away from the session with an extra $280k.
