The game gives Apple users the ability to connect with thousands of players from around the world at any time.
Multiplayer Championship Poker also has an offline option to play along, practice and build poker skills against unique artificial intelligence opponents. There is also a comprehensive strategy guide for all levels as well as free desktop and Facebook versions.
According to a press release from Real Dice, the game has received widespread acclaim from gaming and poker enthusiasts alike and was hailed as "Game of the Year" by Smartphone magazine in 2005, 2006 and 2007.
Multiplayer Championship Poker is now available for download in the iTunes store for $9.99. It is also available for BlackBerry, Palm, Windows Mobile or Symbian for varying prices.
