On to the notable numbers tracked for July 2008:
Top Earners/Biggest Losses
The star attractions of the new features and the most requested by PokerListings readers are easily the top moneymakers/biggest losses lists.
Both are pretty illuminating looks at the real high-rollers in the game month-to-month - on pure dollars changing hands alone - and a pretty clear cut way to see who can back up their claims of being winning players. It's also useful to weed out the long-term winning players from those that simply run hot for a week or two.

Biggest Pots
Not surprisingly, the biggest pots list for July is dominated by the usual nose-bleeders, including Patrik Antonius, Gus Hansen, Jay "pr1nnyraid" Rosenkrantz, Tom Dwan, Steve Sung, etc.
Antonius and pr1nnyraid in particular are all over the top ten, with several big sessions resulting in countless pots over $200k.
Unfortunately for prinnyraid, he was on the losing end of the two biggest, for #HandHistory:7428469418:1901:$370k# and #HandHistory:7079882135:1901:$438k# respectively -the $438k pot also being the third-biggest online so far this year.

Online Traffic Report
Given the attention-pull of the WSOP Main Event and it being the middle of summer in the northern hemisphere, seeing traffic increases in July is definitely a surprise, but traffic increases in fact there were, however modest.
Leading the way was Full Tilt, which saw traffic rise to 6,839 players on average in July over each 24 hour period. Traffic at Titan Poker and Party Poker also rose marginally in July, both up 3% to 5,106 and 4,403 players on average, respectively.
See the full online traffic report here.
Average Pot Size
Juicy games were also the order of the month at both Full Tilt and PokerStars with rather dramatic increases in average pot size from June.
Average pot size rose 15% in July at Full Tilt to $38.40. Pot size at Stars rose 16% to an even $22. Pot size was also up at Mansion Poker (4% to $30).
