The aptly named "Poker Games" start on Aug. 7 and will feature a total of 50 tournaments over three weeks running at all times of the day so players from around the world can get in on the action. There will be over $20,000 in guaranteed cash and prizes up for grabs over the span of the event.
There will be two opening ceremony freerolls on same day for $1,000 and $500 but that's just preview of what's to come over the next three weeks.
Players will compete on the global scale with a country leaderboard and an individual leaderboard with prizes like Sony PS3s and Nintendo Wiis. There will also be gold, silver and bronze metals up for grabs.
Poker formats will include sprints, marathons and even a triathlon all designed for players of varying skill levels.
