PokerTek announced the field trial this week, which could see the fully automated poker tables heading into Las Vegas.

The poker site added a last-minute satellite for the major live tournament, giving players one more shot at a prize package that will seat them in the main event of the APT Macau.
The satellite is scheduled for Sunday at 3:45 p.m. ET and is limited to 20 players, so poker fans will need to act fast if they want to get in on the event. Registration opens at 1 p.m. ET, Aug. 17 and is first come, first served.
The event is to be hosted by the Poker Players Alliance and should draw some big names from the poker world, as they ante up to help the growing number of American veterans who've sustained spinal cord injuries while serving in the military.
