The first two events for the day each had $300,000 guaranteed prize pools while the turbo event bumped up to a $500,000 guarantee, ensuring that plenty of online poker players would want to play.

The first event on tap was the $200+$16 No-Limit Hold'em with one rebuy and one add-on, hosted by Dag Mikkelsen. With 1,210 players buying in to the event, the prize pool was boosted to $575,200, with the winner taking home $126,544.

The bill was first introduced in late 2007 by Gov. Deval Patrick. His intent was to alleviate the flow of state money to nearby places such as Atlantic City and Connecticut by expanding casinos in Massachusetts.

The bill would allow three casino resorts in Massachusetts, but buried in the bill was also language that would make online gambling, including online poker, illegal in the state. The punishment for violators would be up to two years in prison and $25,000 in fines.

Last night the Great Dane and Galfond settled in for a session at nosebleed stakes on Full Tilt Poker, and it was indeed Hansen who saw the majority of the chips go his way. In fact Hansen won an impressive seven out of the 10 largest pots collected by MarketPulse.

On Sunday, Chris Ferguson hosted a $500+$35 No-Limit Hold'em Heads-Up event that drew in 1,132 players. The winner was Luie Sojo, who faced down Plz_Stop_Lookin to earn the $115,884 top prize.

Some Full Tilt Poker pros who made it into the money were Ryan Daut, Josh Arieh, Ali Sarkeshik, Isaac Baron and Scott Fischman.
